J.R. received his B.S. at the University of Richmond, Robins School of Business in 2000. He then attended Widener University School of Law in Chester, Pennsylvania, where he received his J.D. in 2008, on the Dean's Honor List. J.R. will provide representation to the insurance community in the defense of workers' compensation claims, medical cost containment and other insurance defense matters.

After college, he worked as an insurance claims adjuster for several years before graduating from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University. Larry's focus at MM&R will be in the areas of general liability, insurance defense and subrogation, where he has over ten years of trial experience.
We are pleased to announce that Dana L. Plunkett has joined the Northern Virginia office of Midkiff, Muncie & Ross. Ms. Plunkett brings with her experience and high quality service to clients in the insurance industry. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and her law degree from New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. While in law school, Ms. Plunkett interned for a workers' compensation administrative law judge. She has been a member of the Virginia Bar since 1998 and a member of the DC Bar since 2006. In addition to her state court practice, Ms. Plunkett is admitted to practice in the United State District Courts for the for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the District of Columbia, where she has successfully obtained summary judgment. She has experience in the areas of workers' compensation, general liability, insurance defense, ERISA, medical and dental malpractice, and products liability. A successful litigator, she has also resolved numerous matters through mediation and other methods of alternative dispute resolution. We are pleased to have her aboard.
